It was early morning and the other housemates were still asleep.  

When Sophie came out of the bath, she noticed Todd standing in the hall.  Todd was new, having moved in just last weekend.  

Sophie thought he was cute.  She had never thought that about a black guy before.

He was peeking through the slim crack between the almost-closed bathroom door.  He was nude.

He was… touching it.

She was breathless, shocked.  But… enticed.  She stopped drying herself.  She managed a smile.

And when he smiled back and silently came into the bathroom, she found herself folding her towel and setting it to the floor as her heart thundered in her chest like a drum.
